Ran 17 miles in 2:30 (8:51 pace). This week I ran my long run like I was running the full marathon distance. I ran a lot slower in the beginning of the run. It still hurt for the last few miles but the difference is I could have kept going at 9-9:30 pace. Last week I was toast at 16 miles. I did pretty much the same loop in Lowell as well.
